Tough Love

Hmm.. just finished reading Tough Love yesterday night, and I like it better than the other 3 Summit books I've read so far. It's about Mia, a web designer and karateka, who is not much of a risk taker. I have to admit I am, in some ways like her (but I'm no karateka), but haven't found my Leon yet, hehehe. Good thing she had her friend Justine to challenge her to do some things she wasn't used to doing, but then again, its up to her to accept those challenges.

Hayy I wish I was like her. She had outgrown her play safe attitude. Me wishes I could to.

Going on leave on Monday.. I wish everything will go smoothly throughout the remainder of this week.. Me looking forward to have some light reading done again (man, I finished two books in less than a day. That leaves me nothing but work again..)

Breakfast today.. got a sandwich, a banana and my trusty cup of Milo with Cherifer in tow. Ok, make that two sandwiches. But I'm stuffed, really stuffed.

I want to program in Java, Java, Java. Maybe a little .NET would spice things up a bit. But C, C++ and Perl.. they're good, but quite old. Problem is, all I'm facing everyday is C and Perl. I need some new technology to jazz up my skills list. I could try a hand with J2ME or Symbian apps though. Ivy said .NET was sooo easy, maybe I could buy myself a copy of the CD and practice and program at home. Who knows?

Thrilling Tuesday, what have you got in store for me?
