my Saturday
Saturday started off, with the usual.. brush, soap and mop in hand, as mommy and I cleaned the garden, and the puppy poo everywhere (and i mean everywhere!).. good thing was that kaye was already cleaning some of the poo her puppies leave behind (and that made the work easier..). ma left an hour after our (yummy KFC, though I would've preferred the crab omelette anyday) lunch. i checked my mail, and lo and behold. instant 20K saved!
i admit, i'm a newbie at ebay, and i have to admit i almost got tricked by a Romanian scammer. gusto ko kasi talaga yung Sendo X, ever since I laid my eyes on it (and its specs list) last year.. I convinced myself it was my next phone, after my T610, which I have grown to love, but I have to admit I want more from a phone. Buti na lang, nagbasa ako nung mga ebay forums about ebay scams, most people pointed out that most were from Romania. Not wanting prejudice to get the better of me, I tried to deal with one, and it was a fake.. good thing UPS Europe and UPS Romania were able to respond very promptly.. or else!
Nuff said. After checking my mail and surfing a bit, I dozed for a while, set the alarm to 4pm to wake me up, since I was supposed to finish the clean-up. I woke up, half an hour before 4pm, and slept again. I woke up.. at 5:30 pm! Stupid me set the clock to alarm at 4am, plain dumb.. I finished the task (albeit quickly) and went up for a little surfing job. buti na lang tapos na ako.. dumating din si mommy soon after..
by the way, i watched Star In A Million finals kagabi. In my opinion, all of them had potential (they wouldn't even be there if they didn't in the first place), and all of them had chances to win. but i was rooting for the two women finalists. Frenchie won, unsurprisingly. Her voice is really really powerful. Watching competitions such as these make me want to head straight for voice class. I promise, when I get my leave, I'll enroll in one, no matter what the odds are!
