it's been quite a while since i made an entry.. oh well. our thesis is finally finished by now and after a handful of queue lines, completion forms, signatures, trekking from Math Building to Engineering, I have finally cleared all deficiencies! i'm sure to graduate by next week! i'll miss UP yes, but i am so glad that i would be able to step out of it alive. what concerns me is the request for diploma and true copy of grades.. i would have difficulty claiming the educational plan funds since the plan certificate is with the wallet i have lost.. i wish someone (or something) would return it to me..
as i have mentioned, i lost my wallet last week (monday). stupid me.. i accidentally left it outside the CS department, by the rail area. it wasn't there when i came back for it.. stupid stupid stupid me.. i also went to deltabridge last tuesday to take an exam.. pretty much the same as the ones i have taken before, as well the fujitsu interview. having lost my wallet (and all my IDs) the day before, i had trouble going to smart since visitors would be required to present any kind of identification to be allowed entry. i was told that the interview would be rescheduled. i also bought another PC game on my way home, as i've heard that that game is pretty good, sort of similar to The Sims. i also went over to ninang's house to fill up the ATM replacement request form.
had my globe interview last wednesday.. i didn't screw up that much.. i sometimes wasn't able to give what i would consider the best answers to the panel's questions.. and i know i didn't look quite comfortable or confident there.. oh well.. i just hope i did okay (and get accepted eventually..)
i stayed home last thursday, but my PC's power supply malfunctioned around 3pm, leaving me moping and with nothing to do (no music, no games, no internet, no anything!! wahh!) for the rest of the day..
friday.. i had the affidavit of loss notarized.. then went to PLDT to pay.. then to metrobank to claim the ATM, then to school. there was a "scarcity" of toki jeeps that day, i almost didn't make it to the cashier's office at the OUR. good thing the stars were on my side that day and i was able to accomplish everything i needed to do. before going home, i was able to stop by a nearby internet cafe to check my email..
saturday, the technician came.. he wanted to take the CPU, but mama did not feel up to it, so the guy left without fixing anything.. we called up sir john.. and after tinkering with the PC for 5 minutes, he immediately knew what the problem was, and off we went to gilmore to buy a new power supply.. (gilmore.. and PC enthusiast's paradise!). upon arriving home, my modem malfunctioned, but now i'm using my old modem which seems to work without a hitch even if the device driver isn't digitally signed for Windows XP.
sunday, we cleaned the house during the morning and early afternoon, and went out at 3pm to buy myself a gradball outfit.. i like my outfit, it was unique, though a little daring, i have to admit. it was not something which would have a dozen twins (in terms of style, color, etc). now i have to find shoes.. and i really don't know what style of shoes go with that outfit..
my graduation's on saturday!! can't wait.
